Cindemir Shipyard, was established in 1917 as a workshop to repair the iron parts of wooden vessels, and in the following years it started repairing the riveted sheet metal and steam boilers of the vessels.
Cindemir Shipyard continues its maintenance operations spread over a total area of 9.000 square meters with a new floating dock with a lifting capacity of 20000 tons and with maintenance pier length 145 m.
